A standard single-layer pontoon structure provides a maximum weight capacity of up to 350 kg/m² (71.6 lbs/sq.ft). For heavy-duty applications—such as boat docks, drive-on jet ski ramps, or floating machinery platforms—a double-layer configuration increases the load rating to over 700 kg/m², ensuring stable flotation under varying load conditions.
The pontoon floats feature an engineered service life exceeding 10~15 years under outdoor UV exposure. The system is virtually maintenance-free: it requires no painting, seasonal painting, or chemical treatment. Periodic cleaning with high-pressure water or freshwater rinsing is sufficient to remove algae and salt deposits.
